These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PEPTIQE website, products, and services. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Research-use only
All PEPTIQE products are sold exclusively as reference standards for in vitro research use. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, diagnosis, treatment, or consumption. By purchasing, you attest that you are a qualified researcher and that the product will be used solely for legitimate in vitro research under appropriate institutional oversight.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years of age and legally permitted to purchase research chemicals in your jurisdiction. PEPTIQE reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its sole discretion, including where we have reason to believe the buyer is not a qualified researcher or the intended use is unlawful.
3. Orders and pricing
All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Placing an order does not constitute acceptance; PEPTIQE confirms acceptance by shipping the product. We may correct pricing errors, cancel orders for out-of-stock items, or limit quantities at our discretion.
4. Shipping and title
Shipping terms are described on our Shipping & Returns page. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier. PEPTIQE is not liable for delays caused by the carrier, customs, or events outside its reasonable control.
5. All sales final
Because these are research chemicals whose storage conditions cannot be verified once they leave our control, all sales are final after dispatch. We do not accept returns or exchanges, and we do not issue refunds, except where required by applicable law.
If an order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect through our error, contact us promptly with your order reference and photographs. We will review the report and may, at our discretion and subject to applicable law, provide a replacement or another remedy. Orders may be cancelled only before fulfillment has begun.
6. Product information
We make reasonable efforts to describe products accurately. Purity, identity and other analytical figures shown on this site are taken from documentation supplied by each lot’s manufacturer. PEPTIQE does not perform its own analytical testing and does not independently verify manufacturer documentation.
Any research information on this site is provided for general reference only. It is not guidance for use in humans or animals. Packaging, appearance, specifications and availability may change without notice.
7. Prohibited uses
You may not purchase or use our products for any unlawful purpose, for administration to humans or animals, or in any way inconsistent with their stated research purpose. You may not provide false information when ordering, resell products in violation of applicable law, interfere with the operation or security of this site, or infringe our intellectual property.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and all products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind. PEPTIQE expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
PEPTIQE makes no representation that any product is approved, suitable or safe for human or veterinary use, for consumption, or for any therapeutic, diagnostic or clinical purpose. No product has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any such use.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PEPTIQE and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, suppliers and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising out of or relating to the site, any product, or these Terms — regardless of the theory of liability and even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
PEPTIQE’s total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
You assume full responsibility for the selection, handling, storage, labelling, use and disposal of products purchased from PEPTIQE, and for ensuring that any such activity is lawful and appropriately supervised.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless PEPTIQE and its owners, officers, employees and affiliates from and against any claim, demand, investigation, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: your purchase, possession, handling, storage, use, misuse, transfer or distribution of any product; your administration of any product to a human or animal; your breach of these Terms; or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
11. Compliance
You are solely responsible for determining whether purchasing, possessing, importing, using or disposing of a product is lawful where you are, and for complying with all applicable federal, state, local and institutional requirements. PEPTIQE ships within the United States only and makes no representation about the legality of any product in any other jurisdiction.
12. Intellectual property
All site content — trademarks, logos, copy, imagery and layouts — is owned by or licensed to PEPTIQE and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially exploited without written permission.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. The revised version takes effect when posted with an updated date. Continuing to use the site or place orders after that constitutes acceptance.
